"Fate...heh. What a complex thing in all it's simplicity. It's beauty. It's power. Fate holds us all in her cruel grasp. A complex weaving of all lives, in one way another, eventually, you shall cross threads. You see. Life is like a game of cards. The hand you are dealt is determinism; the way you play it is free will. Destiny places a path beneath our feet, yet it us who must walk it.In my varied time on this earth, I find destiny a funny thing. An invisible cacoon that traps us in it's inisplicibility. Slaves we are to that iversable road, born into bondage to a path we cannot erase. Yet...We can chose to build...Build another road that will lead down darker paths, or lighter.Choice, starts at all purpose. Fate...Yes..Fate it seems, holds true for us all.
~Eleanor Noklardae"
The moon wavered in the sky, casting her pale glow upon the ruins of the ancient buildings, which now lay ruins. All was silent throughout the crisp autumn night, a fair nightengale sang in the distant, crickets chirped. The sky was a ebony black silk, strewn with the pale opening doors of stars. The moon wavered at a crescent, her sway never ending upon the earth. A forest surrounded the terrace
and a small creek at the northern woods. A herd of deer grazed near the ruins, suddenly a head popped up, doe brown eyes wide.
A woman burst from the door, the wood splintering and hanging off the old rusty hinges. She twirled around her bow, with an arrow knocked and readypointed back to the dark opening of the door, her mucsles tensed and she released, coming back with more and more.
Meanwhile a query of arrows was returning from the open door, and a team of soilders made their way out, weapons drawn with some with crossbows as they shot at her, yet...Eleanor looked back at her empty quiver and shouldered her bow and turned her eyes to the crusade of soilders. Her emerald eyes shone bright with anger and fury, the lime embers seeming aflame around the island{pupil} in those
jade pools. She pulled back her arms and pushed foward and a jet of Bright green light escaped her hands, aiming toward the front of the ranks. Suddenly a rock flew from the darkness and clunked her hard upon her head.
Crumpling to the ground she fell withot a sound. Her long raven black locks layed in gentle sikly turrets about her angelic like face. Pointed ears poked from the umber mane.
The elf herself was qutie beautiful, like most of her kind, yet something about her was more intriging...More...Wild. An untamable heart of fire and passion.Yet even the wildest of mares...Are broken.
Captivating, and quite oddly beautiful green eyes squinted open and she groaned as light filled her orbs. She closed them again, cringing slightly, her legs pulling up slightly. She stillwore a simple alfit, leather breaches with black knee high boots. A red tuinc wrapped up her tightly much like a corset yet had arms that opened bell like just below the elbows. With the groan she rolled over, her black mane splaying across her delicate face.
The door to her cell suddenly opened and a few soilders filed in, One came across, pulling her to her feet. "Ey boys...So the lass is awake" He said, lust burning deep in his eyes. The soilders grinned coming in on her, She squirmed slihgtly yet was extremely weak. They began to fondle her and she kicked up hitting one square in the nose, he pulled back gripping his face yet the others payed now heed. One with messy brown hair put his nose close to her face. "Wild..I like that" Eleanor squirmed, pulling back her head and smashing it into his face. She fell slihgtly limper, her raven black hair swarming about her pale face.
"This'll teach her" one grunted, grabing her delicate wrist, he started to push back on it. She let out a cry pain, there was a loud snap, and she looked down at her hand that was now bent backward in the most innatural way. Her green eyes rimmed with tears and the Soilders chuckled. "Perhaps we'll wait till she's a little weaker" they chortled, The one who she had hit the nose of came up, butting her face with his knee. Eleanor crumpled to the ground unconciouss. Pain and fright falling back in that black veil of nothingness.
