It's easy to dismiss Quake 2 as the weakest of the Quake series. Sure, any game would be hard-pressed to be as innovative as the original Quake, and the graphics have long been surpassed by Quake 3. What's easy to forget, however, is that Q2 boasted easily the best single-player campaign of the series, and coupled it with fantastic netcode for online play that some of today's games -- 4 years later -- still have trouble surpassing. Offline, the single-player game placed the player on the alien world of Stroggos, as a lone soldier out to singlehandedly save Earth from enemy invasion. Unlike most games before it, Quake 2 featured a "hub" system for its levels -- each large map was actually made up of several smaller levels that the player could go back and forth between at any time, a system that Half-Life would build on a year later.
Online, continuing in the tradition of the original, over 100 modifications were released for the game, and it dominated the internet as the most popular online game for all of 1998. Most popular among them was id's official Quake 2 Capture the Flag, released in February of that year. The game spawned numerous clans and tournaments, and still boasts dozens of servers and hundreds of players even today. id's official 8 deathmatch maps enjoyed massive popularity both as standard play and as part of other mods, and the game remains an important chapter in the history of online gaming and the modifcation community.

Nintendo's late, great Gumpei Yokoi created Super Metroid for the then-new SNES console. With it, he managed to bring a new level of atmosphere and immersion to action/platform gaming. Featuring an engrossing storyline; incredible visuals; a host of upgrades, items and weapons; spooky ambient music; and great gameplay, Super Metroid remains one of the most enjoyable console titles ever created. The game still enjoys a devout following among die-hard gamers the world over. The fantastically creepy mood, the engrossing gameplay, and - if you beat it fast enough - the chance to see a scantily clad female space warrior definitely make for a Top 50 title.

Based on the Baldur's Gate Infinity Engine, Torment looked great, but its real contribution was that it put the "RP" firmly back in "RPG". The game's rich story unfolded over time like a deep mystery novel, challenging you to try to discover your character's forgotten past and forging new friendships along the way. Torment also succeeded as an RPG by emphasizing attributes that are normally downplayed, like intelligence, charisma and dexterity. Depending on your statistics, different options were open to you in conversations and activities that would allow you to overcome obstacles without swinging a sword. Thanks to its unique look, complex and meaningful story, and flexibility in gameplay, Planescape: Torment was as much a work of art as anything you'll find in a museum or library.

Here lone here's some stuff on oblivion i thought i would ask and talk about
I mean why can enemies see me through walls and chase me even when they are out of my LOS. Kind of makies it impossible to be a stealthy character.... Also when i kill someone in the middle of the wilderness and no one else see how do guards know to put a bounty on me, know I killed someone, and have stolen property the second i go into a city...
It just makes it hard to have alot of fun since everything single thing no within the law I do I get busted for no matter how perfect a crime. Same with the enemies, you can never hide or run away

PC. Even with a sneak level of 1 an archer shouldn't be putting arrows into a stone wall with pinpoint precision of my location.
Also I did try some mod that supposedly make the guards not pyschic but that didn't seem to do anything noticable

wish there was horseback combat.
I once heard something about tresspassing where if you aren't out before 30 seconds, a guard comes. im not sure though, this is all game mechanichs and freaky AI, so there is no way to tell. I wish they could publish a list of all game mechanichs in Oblivion, so we could figure out what the hell is going on with the Radiant AI some of the time.
On a side note, I was hunting dear out by anvil, and there was a dead bruma milita laying on top of a rock. Bottom line is, AI makes mistakes. Wierd ones.
Edit: Testing some things out, Its not about if the guard sees YOU when the crime is commited. Its about if the victim is seen. My example is this:
Man with torch at about 5 am. EASILY seen. (High light factor = easily seen). I am NOT seen, according to my sneaky eye thing. I wait until my mark wanders right infront of a guard, then blast him one in the head with an arrow from at least 100 feet off. Guard yells "SOMEONES BEEN MURDERED!", Examines the body, and runs at me.
Wierd.
lone there u go hope these are some tips and tricks and questions i need u to answer if u can ^_^
